The DB4c are special DB4s offered by Motocorse Japan. Only 50 units produced. Differences from the normal DB4 include:

- 41mm FCR flatsides
- motor bored out to 944 cc
- Corse titanium full system
- Marchesini 5 spoke wheels
- Acalantra seat
- gold anodized frame, swingarm, rearsets, and triples
- DB1sr red paint scheme

Ah, thanks. Not in the Nardi book, but that is not all that uncommon. Frankly, and this is personal taste only, I prefer the tricolore color scheme, but, again, that is personal taste. Good luck on scoring that bike. Dave

Thanks Dave. Just out of curiosity, how is your DB4 set up?

froryde, Try Bob Smith at Moto Point he has the one with the 24-karat gold plating, more then whats on the you are showing, it has a tricolor paint job. It really is a stunning bike. I think it cost close to 50K. to make.

There is a NEW full fairing 2000 DB4IE (the ducati 1.5 injected model) for sale on cycle trader. It is the yellow/black/silver colors. One of approx 6 imported in the USA with fuel injection. I have the silver/red/black color scheme. They are the biposta models. There were also approx 6 2000 DB4IE Half fairing models imported to the US. I much prefer fuel injection and they are easy to convert to monoposta if desired.

I have seen the one on cycle trader and it is perfect and new. I think it is on www.youtube.com

41 flatslides, corse ti exhaust system, engine completely reworked very much like my DB2 9see that post) except still a 904. Both bikes have engines that 'feel' in response, with the larger discp in the DB2 in midrange grunt easy to tell without needing to blindfolded Dave
