Thanks for the compliments on the bike, will try to post more pictures of what's in the garage. But my garage is not as deep as your's. Just missed getting a SB6R by 2 seconds about 10 days ago to add to the collection.
Still would like to know how the SLC concept was used beyond the SB6R? SLC refers to a stright line from steerring tube too the swingarm pivot, this was stopped after the SB6R. It proved to be a deadend for many reasons. Width of frame at swingarm, SB6 is the only bimota that I have ridden on the street where I had to keep my feet with the toes on the pegs to keep from scraping on the road. Lower center of gravity which means more lean angle for a given speed through a corner. Does not use the motor as a stressed member when most motors are designed to be, so more weight and bulk in the frame. Having had a SB8RS stripped down last week to remove cams and the rear shock, it looks much like the frame of the YB11 not like a SLC frame. The frame of the YB11 has much of the cross bracing that the YB8 had has been removed, also the area aroung the swingarm does not have as much bracing. It looks like the frame's of the SB8 series. There are features carried over from the SB6's but SLC is not one of them.
I will own a SB6 or SB6R in the very near future, feeling the SB6 is one of the best looking bimota's of all time.
