Bimota Porn

Photographer's note: These are not my bikes (duh), these are DNovo's bikes (a.k.a. dad's bikes). I also apologize in advance for the funky angles, the quarters are quite tight in the garage.

K, this one doesn't have a Ducati motor but I still like it.

Very nice, we both have the same amount of room - none. I keep asking my self a bike or a garage, so far the bikes are winning.

The DB1 is quite a fun little bike to ride except for the clutch pull from hell.

Mine is actually pretty easy going... I don't think I did anything special to it, but I did get CRG levers which made it better... If you see this Nick, you didn't do anything to it either did you?

Pops modified the clutch. I have no clue what it is but I'm guessing its pretty close to race bike setup. Its not bad once you're moving but starting from a stop is a pain.

"Pops" (nice crack, squirt, pay for your own gas next time we stop) modified more than the clutch on this bike. Try large jugs, reworked heads, flatsides, etc. The engine was reworked, first to Montjuich specs, and then the big bore kit, then different carbs, etc. Stock looking, other than Dr. Desmo's famous machine work cleaning up the rear sets and converting the stock looking exhaust to damn near full race. (You can see the way the rearsets and exhaust hangers were re-cut by Dr. D in the second picture from the top, lovely work, typicial of the way he does things.)

You are riding a bike with Dr. Desmo's best work done over a period of years, a bit here and a bit there, until anything more and it wouldn't be streetable. So show some respect next time, or I'll find you a Gold Wing to ride. Dave aka, "Pops"

Actually, we changed the springs years ago on the DB1.
