My DB2 update

Well so far so good.
I went to the DMV yesterday and paid the state their demand. I still need to pull off the fairing (yikes!) so the engine number can be seen and verified. At least for now I got a temporary operating permit so I'm legal.
No issues YET with mileage or CA emission requirements.
Went for my first but short legal ride this afternoon. Less than 10 miles but I've got a sore shoulder after lowsiding a dirt bike Sunday.

You better get someone to help you with that unless you only want to drop the fairing down far enough to read it. I'll assume you will want to ride it over there for the inspection with the fairing off (or trialer it). If this is the case, you probably want another person to help you pry the bottom apart.

Yeah,
Both Jim and the previous owner said the fairing is a two man job. I'll probably tempt fate and try doing it myself first. Living alone has it's drawbacks.
I figure I should be able to handle it with some stratigicly placed blankets and cardboard.
