good stuff you will be v happy with it. get some decent tyres as well. i could give you my suspension set up if u like. am currently mid progress installing some LSL alloy handlebar clamps that have a rise of 50mm. the oe riding position for me is just too "sporty" with the low bars. you may want to coincide this work, if u proceed, with the master cylinder/lever work that u mentioned. i expect to finish my work in about 2-3 weeks time so i could take some photos and post if u like. let me know.
could we have a celebratory photo of a burn out plse when u get the bike??!!

I've been looking at a db7. Hope you are very happy with the bike. I'm looking forward to hearing your impressions after the first ride! Good luck and congratulations.

Isn't it winter there now? Oh sorry Perth, what a place to live!!!
How are the roads there? Some good twisties? Took the time to look at Google maps, yup looks like you may have lots of roads. What is Chittering Rd like, looks great.

Hi Dick,
I'd certainly be interested in your modified set up, my first order of business will be to get a service and bike back in shape, as it's been unused for the past 12-15 months, I feel it would be prudent to fit new belts and a full service, burn out might have to wait till then as don't fancy the burn out resulting in more than a new tyre
The RCS master cylinder has turned up and the original levers are not compatible so will need to fabricate a reservoir mount and seen some interesting options so far, the rizoma looks good and at $40 isn't a big cost.

Yep winter over here now which means lots of wet weather, will put off riding the bike as much as humanly possible until the sun comes out to play later this year, until then the 4x4 will have to do
There are some good roads in WA but there not on the doorstop usually a good 45 minute ride to get to the good stuff, so not too many police about when you do get to the good stuff. Chittering is good but quite populated in the summer months and the surfaces are not great, patches of gravel have caught many a rider out. There are better roads but I've only been here a few years so still exploring the area.

Was wondering if anyone had any experience of running their DB7 with a cat by pass system? I know an Italian race team are offering a bypass system for around 500 euro but I've yet to find out if this means the fueling will need to be altered and if so is it possible with the standard engine management system?
Here's a link to the bypass system in case anyone is interested.
