o2 sensor bypass/elimination??? Power Commander question.
I have a BIMOTA Tesi 3D with the Ducati DS1100 2 valve engine.
The bike comes stock with an o2 sensor in the exhaust. I am planning on upgrading to an improved air intake system using velocity stakes and K&N air filters matched to a custom open/race style exhaust system.
My question; can I bypass and/or simply remove the o2 sensor from the exhaust, or would it be best to keep the o2 sensor intact with the upgraded exhaust?
Im not familiar with Ducati engines as this is the first one I have owned, so I do not know enough to make an educated decision on this.
Another question; has anyone put a Power Commander on their BIMOTA Tesi 3D, DB5R, or DB6R with the Ducati DS1100 2 valve engine, and if so, how did this work for you, and which one/model did you use on the bike. I have also considered this upgrade for the bike as well, but again I do not know Ducati engine very well.
thanks for any help
