KB 3 on fleabay
The KB 3 on eBay now, two days to go, is a very rare and very desirable early Bimota. Very few of this vintage around. The price hasn't met reserve yet, but if you want a vintage/classic Bimota, I'd bid on it and see if you could snag it. No, I am not a buyer as I have the identical- but for engine HB2.
The nice things about the early Jaoanese powered models is the availability of mechanical replacement parts. Carbs are easier to do at home than injection. And Bimota injected bikes before the newest models used a proprietary injection system, or more properly sourced from a small company that no longer offers parts and are impossible to fix if they pop. (Hell the Tesi 1 injection is a nightmare and the early injected Yamaha powered Bimota never ran right.)
In any event, if you have the coin, a real neat bike to own. Dave
