Heated Grips Wiring - Ducati.ms

Hi Guys,

Where do I find the wire socket that was factory installed for heated grips. I am looking inside the fairing but can't find it?

On my 04 ST3 I took of the fairing around the headlight and it was above the headlight.

Ok now that I have found the plug, where can one purchase the socket to fit this outlet??

My Dual Stars heated grip kit came with a little splicer dealy that clamps onto the positive wire for sourcing power. So I just clamped it onto the positive from the factory wire set rather than try to find a plug that fit. I ran the ground to a bolt on the frame under the dash.

As I recall, it is not easy to source a plug that fits, and using the wiring the way I had allowed me to get the job done in less than an hour, complete install. BTW, I didn't remove the fairing, I just removed the dash panels and found the wiring harness.
