New Supersport WITH BAGS!!

The Ducati April Newsletter made me very happy.

I doubt I'll replace the ST2 with this, as my wife would not consider the backseat an upgrade. But then again, she does have her own MC license... Hmmm... maybe a second Ducati in the garage?

If you are fortunate and do add the new SS and have 2 Ducs ..... who would chose their bike to ride first , since comfort sounds as if it may be a factor ..... or I guess you could just swap out each day ,eh .... thank my lucky stars my Wife has no interest in getting on anything with 2 wheels !

I don't think there would be any competition, supersport would win every time unless the second half wanted to come for a ride.
better brakes, better dashboard, better handling and more power :-)
But then I've not read a write up on the comfort of the pillion seat on the supersport yet.

I thank my lucky stars that my wife likes to ride with me. We have a great time together.

I'm pretty interested in the new SuperSport. I'm curious to see how the fit compares to my ST2.

The bags might be the deal-breaker, though; I'm not a fan of the semi-rigid style, and the way these are mounted they stick out like they were an afterthought. Not the nice curved fit of our ST cases.

Based on the pics, the way the pipes are oriented makes me wonder if the case will be heated and coated in exhaust. I suppose there will be different after-market options available soon enough.

Would also be great if one could mount up MTS-style hardcases as long as they didn't stick out to far...

Still a great looking bike and reviews all seem pretty solid.

How big is the gas tank? Out here in the wild west you need to get at least 200 miles to a tank for touring.

Not even mildly interesting. Mosquito bump cases, too many electronic gizmos, and too much money. At least it looks good, even in red.

Have a good one.
