looking for a trashed fuel tank
I have a project ST that I am playing with. it is a salvage title burn job that I am slowly bringing back to life. I'd like to try and give it somewhat of a bevel drive SS look. So, I am looking for a trashed tank that I can try to modify. any condition is OK, mainly need the bottom and the area where the cap bolts in. the sides can be bashed in. if you have one such or see one somewhere, I'd love to have it. thanks, Jan

JBCaddy-
I'm buying a set of bodywork right now from a member. I'll have a spare '00 ST2 tank that I dented with my crotch in the seat/tank area for sale once I get all the other bodywork mounted up. The dent is fairly symmetrical, about 1.5in deep. The top is clean/undented, ditto for the bottom/mounts, and same for the sides near your knees.
I'd like to recoup some of my costs from the whole set, so $100 shipped plus a donation to this website of $25?
That sound fair to you?
