Question Carbon Fiber Exhaust Options

Ducati Performance vs. Arrow

Is there any reason not to go for the Arrow Carby's over the Ducati Performance carbon fiber slip ons? The fact that the Arrows are $200 cheeper is one factor in their favor. Looking at Motostrano for the Arrows and Section8Superbike for the Ducati's. Also - any other options/suppliers worth investigating? I'd like to stay with the carbon fiber over stainless.

I like Sil Motor. They make them in carbon (as well as titanium), I have a set on my SS.

Arrows are great pipes. Cosmetically, I don't particularly like the big yellow Arrow badge that is riveted to the pipes but I don't think it's worth paying $200.00 more to not have the badge. If I remember correctly, Arrows makes the DP carbon cans for the ST bikes. I'm not 100% sure though.

+1 on Sil Motors

I just put the SIL Motor C/F Ovals on my ST4S, they are not too loud and the look is awesome. They also have removable baffles so if you want them really load you can have that option. With the baffles in they are just a bit louder than stock at idle. When you open it up they have a nice deep rumble to them. I got them from Carpi Moto in Italy, they were right around $600.00.
I will post some pix next week.

Bob,
I had the shipping billed directly to my UPS account as we get a nice discount on inbound International shipments. I think they wanted around $115.00 for Express UPS (3-5 days)
From the date I ordered, it was about 2 weeks before I got them. I think they (Carpi Moto) order them from SIL as they get orders, it states on their site to expect 15-20 days.
Hope this helps!

Mark

It is easy to "black" this out with a mat engine paint if you want.
