My New ST4s Custom Painted
Hi Everyone, Enclosed are some pix of my new to me custom painted ST4s. This was painted by the previous owner. The bike only had 1900 miles on the clock when I brought her home from the dealer. I am curious on the kind of feedback I will receive whether positive or negative. All I can say is it grabs alot of attention when im out for a ride. At first I thought it was way over the top for a Ducati, but the longer I have it the more it's starting to grow on me.

It certainly won't get lost in a parking lot and it will be a little difficult to part out on e-Bay if it is stolen. For all the $$$$ the previous owner must have spent on the paint job, he could at least have installed a Ducati Designs headlight.

I've edited and deleted this post several times. I can't find a nicer way to say this, so I'll just say...Its not my taste. Good luck with her.

Hey, it'll get noticed, that's for sure. Not sure it's for me, but I kinda like it as a counterpoint to traditional monochromatic ST's.
Congrats and enjoy.

Only because you asked, I'll admit that I'm not wild about the flames or the checkered flags.

............... When I was down in Asheville, NC a few weeks ago I was looking at some of the previously owned bikes for sale at Myers Ducati, and there was this 80's vintage Moto Guzzi LeMans (CX100 -- 1000cc) with a custom paint job......lapis blue paint with orange and yellow flames....One of the salesmen had dubbed it "Le Flambe"

Flames and checkered flags aside, that bike screams out for a DD headlight and a newer more comfy seat! Oh yeah, and maybe a few cans of blue spray paint. J/K about the blue spray paint, but FWIW, my favorite ST has always been a yellow '02 ST4s Seriously, enjoy your one of a kind Duc.

Ummmmmm. From my perspective... your ride's been pimped. But that's just me. On a serious note though, if your board name has any relevance to what else might reside in your garage, PLEASE... promise this board that you will not subject it to a similar fate.

Gah! Nooooooo!
The checkered flags on red might actually be OK by themselves, but those flames have got to go! Just my personal opinion. Flame paint jobs just look tacky to me.

Do you go hard? It could be a bit embarrassing pulling up last on that, don't you think?
Thanks MCD I was wondering what colour to spray my recently res erected 96SL. Maybe purple with pink pokadots?
