Quickey Bolt Size question...

Allen bolts which hold the hugger to the swing arm, anyone have a size on them?

I guess maybe the right question is of there is an OEM parts schematic on line somewhere so I could look these things up too? Because I am going to have the same questions on some of the bolt sizes for all of the tail section.

I had them all laid out nicely on painters tape and labeled from disassembly last month. When I went to quickly button the tail section up because it was 60 here the other day my nicely labeled and laid out strand was gone so I am scrambling as its in the 50’s today too.

The Service Manual will give the sizes and torque values for most of the bolts. The torque chart from ducatiwiki will have most of these also.

Sorry, I can't get to the SM at the moment.

Have a good day.

Thanks guys... that ducwiki site is very helpful. I wonder if there is a complete ST4 manual on line somewhere?

Jonny I plucked 4 of exactly that size, I passed on the allen head and went with the traditional hax. Thanks for the info.

Yes. You can buy one at duc.nu for not much. But, then our MarkST has been hosting some. The ST4 or ST4s manual from just about any year should help you with most of the work.

Have a good one.

trader, the bolts for the hugger have an unthreaded shoulder ( and rubber washer ) on them which prevents you from over tightening and breaking the carbon fiber. there are a couple of good manuals out there, search on manual threads...
