Radar detector mount
Looks like the options are pretty slim on mounting a detector on these ST's. Haven't found anything I like doing a search. Where do you have yours mounted????
Thank's in advance.

Create one. There are a bazillion ways to mount a detector on a ST. I made my own mount because I have Helibars on the bike. The other thing to keep in focus is where are you to put the GPS so it doesn't interfere with the detector. Both are essential on this bike.

Legal Speeding v2
This is what I use. I heated up a paperclip and melted a hole through the windscreen, instead of drilling. I don't like drilling plastic. This company also has some detector boxes to keep it out of the rain, depending on what detector you have. I use an escort, and the box will not work

Same as Duckman, on top of my tankbag. Been doing it for about 30 years. "Never leave home without it"... Escort 8500. It also has a function to readout as a voltmeter!
Plus, if you harness up another bike, the tank bag ties on, and plugs in !
If I get pulled over, gloves come off, go on top of R.Det., then helmet follows...remove and cover up the R.Det. They never see it. Registration is under the seat, as I would tell the officer in advance.

I suction cup mine right to the windscreen and use a couple of clear silicon "bumpers" (little round dots you stick under things to keep them from scratching or moving) to keep it from bouncing and marking the screen. I made a L.E.D. on a plug that is clearly visible when riding.

Here's the setup I've been using for a few years now and love it.
The detector and sound mixer are velcroed to the top of the bag. The GPS/music player on a Ducati Designs mount.
I rigged up a wairing harness that ties it all toghether and tucks away under the front flap on the bag. There is one connector for power and one to plug into the audio out on the GPS.
The power connector on the bike tucks away between the iginition switch and the tank with a little weather proof cover for when not connected to the bag.
And it all outputs through a set of Etymotic ER6i ear phones. The mixer lets me set the sound output of each device seperately and then gives me one master volume level control that easy to use. If it rains the tank bag cover protects the mixer and and detector and I put a zip lock bag over the GPS and keep on trucking. When I get to a hotel or whatever, or when filling the tank, theres just the two plugs to undo and it all comes off with the bag and goes in with me. Works for me.

I use the Legal Speeding mount also but the adhesive version instead of drilling the windshield. Works great with the Valentine detector.
