ST4S wellnuts & bolts wanted
When I bought my ST4s a few years ago, it was a mess and I've spent the past few years cleaning it up, getting it caught up maintenance & doing some common improvements I've learned from other owners & this website.
I'm about to tear off the fairings and do a bunch of maintenance & minor work. When I bought the bike, I had some damaged well nuts and mismatched bolts I'd like to replace with the correct stock ones. If anyone has extras of the following nuts (I've tried to attach a PDF from the parts manual but the site said it exceeded size limits) they want to get rid of for a few bucks plus postage, let me know. I'm amazed what dealers and on-line Ducati suppliers want for these:
1) 4-8 Typical bolts & well nuts for sides of fairings (parts #6,7,8 on page 154 of Ducati ST4s parts manual)
2) Large bolts and well nuts at bottom of lower fairings under engine (parts # 17, 13, 3 on page 154)
3) Side body panel bolts under rear of seat (parts #17, 30 on page 138)
Any help would be appreciated. Getting rid of the previous owners mismatched hardware would be my last steps to get rid of the stupidity once inflicted on my bike.

two options for well nuts:
Try Lowes, in the specialty nut drawers they have them. (not sure they are 100% compatible)
or
Desmotimes.com has the replacement ones you seek.

There have been a few posts on sourcing well nuts.
I bought well nuts from clipsandfasteners.com
They're made by Au-Ve-Co
M6-10 cat number 16251 $17.43 for a box of 25
M5-8 cat number 16248 $14.15 for a box of 25
Great quality, brass insert and inexpensive!

Once we've got a few more sources, it'd be good to stick this in the Equivalent Parts sticky. DesmoParts and ClipsAndFasteners are very cheap - if you search at ClipsAndFasteners, use "well nut" - they have lots, but their search engine is a bit fussy.
