Scorpian Twin Slip-ons $210 shipped!
I ran across a deal in eBay:
Scorpion Slip ON Twin Exhaust Stainless Steel Yamaha YZF R1 '04-'06 BRAND NEW!!! | eBay
It's for a Yamaha R1. It's two cans, with adapter pipes. I called their shop in OH, and he measured the inlet ID: It's 2". I think I can go from there to 1.75" pretty easy.
Hey, for $210 SHIPPED, I think it's a GREAT deal!
Maybe you have more than 1 toy to play with or need to r+r some scuffed up cans on your machine?
Figure I might make someone else's Christmas a bit Merry (and loud!).

I looked at other brands of slip-ons for the Yamaha R1 and installing them on my ST4s, a few sinple stainless steel welds done on my Tig machine could net me a new sound to my old ST....
These are a great deal..
Good call!

Scorpian Pics
Here's some detailed pics of the cans. outlets are skewed at a unique angle. Inlets are 2"ID, straight in, and offset from center just a tad. They're meant to be under-the-seat exh (see inst_* for some pics of R1).
Cans are absolutely beautiful. Like mirrors. I showed one strap. Gotta install the rubber strip...easier said than done!
Oh, Lifetime warranty! and comes with pipe clamps, and those inlet adaptor pipes. All SSteel.
$210 shipped. While they last.

I finally got around to making some spacers and mounted them to the Moto Guzzi today. They look great. Even though they're approx. 2" clear thru, they're not much louder than the OEM exhaust. But, because of the huge bore and outlet compared to the OEM, I think it's going to breathe a lot more free than b4. Too dark for pics. And I still need to get some straps to hang the cans. Right now, it's just the pipe/clamp holding them.

Stick, I thought you were putting these on an ST, what Guzzi did you put them on? Will they work on an ST2? I'd like to see any pictures of how they install, good on you for thinking creatively.

Actually, I think it would be a bit of a challenge to mount these to an ST with factory pipes. Because the pipe enters the muffler at an angle. The Moto Guzzi Sport 1100 (1996) that I bought, the factory mufflers are removable via a crush strap (clamp). And the lead-in pipe enters straight in. So these were fairly easy to mount to the Guzzi. If I trashed the Staintunes on my ST4s, that pipe enters the staintune straight in also. So it would most likely be easy on that too (after cutting off the pipe from the exh. can).
Best way to attempt on an ST* would be to cut the pipe, and then have someone weld a transition pipe on the end of the cut pipe, at an angle that would point parallel with the long axis of the bike.

couple of pics of the Guzzi w/ scorpians
I had these shots in Hotmail... but I have HUGE problems at work using HM, so only these 2 for now...
One shot is looking straight down on the can. You can see the angled outlet, and the straight inlet.
See this vid. on youTube: Moto Guzzi 1100 sport walk around and startup - YouTube
basically, the same as the one I got.

BTW, this "transition / angle" pipe could be made from the adapter pipes that come in the kit. I used the 2" OD part of these pipes as some of my collapsable collars that I made.
