Damaged Exhaust?

I placed a "wanted" ad in the acc. area, but no action yet.

I figure since some of us ST'ers do track daze, maybe someone has some scraped up exh. cans that they'd be willing to part with?

I'm looking to make up "something" for a '96 Sport 1100 Guzzi. The OEM silencers are HUGE, stainless, all welded... looking for something to play with. Ideally need a 45mm ID pipe close to the inlet. The OEM muffler has a bout a 2" stub, dead center and straight in, and it's clamped onto the 45mm OD lead-in pipe. I'll alter and weld to this config. if I have to.

Anybody got a pair, or any leads to a friend that might have some?

Bob, thanks for the offer. I sent you a PM.

I ran across a deal in eBay:
Scorpion Slip ON Twin Exhaust Stainless Steel Yamaha YZF R1 '04-'06 BRAND NEW!!! | eBay

It's for a Yamaha R1. It's two cans, with adapter pipes. I called their shop in OH, and he measured the inlet ID: It's 2". I think I can go from there to 1.75" pretty easy.

Hey, for $210 SHIPPED, I think it's a GREAT deal!

Figure I might make someone else's Christmas a bit Merry (and loud!).
