What performance upgrades have you done to your ST?
Curious as to what others have done to their steed to increase performance-
Engine mods? Suspension? Exhaust? Tires? Weight reduction?
Do we even care? Sure it's not a superbike but why discriminate.

Sil Motor c/f slip ons; Penske shock, RT springs and comp. dampers; Pirelli Angel tires, EBC HH frt brake pads and of course, an Agip sticker. No much so far and not much more planned because I'm very happy with the pakage as is.

Sorry but I trot this one out from time to time, putting 30K miles on my bike transformed the performance.
I told this to a 848 man with 300 on the clock, he LOL, his would be gone before he ever got close to 3K !
43 tooth rear cog mad a hell of a difference too

Wow, that's a bit of a long period for settling in the parts, aka, break-in period, isn't it Johnny?
As it sits now, I've got the ST version that came with Ohlins, abs. The only thing I added was DP kit that included ecu, header, CF pipes and airbox. As Stryder suggested suspension performance would be the logical parameter. What's next balance/blueprint engine? (time to go to the asylum if I get that bad). Tires-ah,yes, but that will be for a separate thread. Brakes-I'm pretty happy.
Anything else? (please don't tell me to get a Multistrada.)

Racetech Goldvalves - Worth having as they give a more compliant ride over small pumps and absorb bigger jolts better.

2006 ST3 Job...Complete!
I just completed all my mods that I plan on doing...here it goes!
2006 ST3, Red:
*Termi exhaust
*DP chip
*Carbon front and rear fender
*CRG levers
*Billet parts all over the place
*Heated grips
*Tinted Zero Gravity shield
*Sprocket (rear)
*EV Clutch slave cylinder
*Corbin seat
*HID headlight
*Carbon LED tail lights
*Nautilus horn
*Ohlins rear shock
*GP Suspension fork rebuild with springs and compression re-valving
*Pilot Road 3 tires
*Heli Bar risers
What were the most important and what would I do first? Definitely the suspension and then the chip/exhaust/sprocket. The rest just makes the bike more comfortable and way more sexy.
Have fun! What a great, buttery smooth ride...

Both of our ST2 bikes have aftermarket slip-ons, eprom, airbox mod, 14/41 or 14/42 gearing, and EBC HH brake pads. One of them has an aftermarket clutch slave after going through two OEM slaves. Mine also has upgraded clutch and front brake master cylinders with the remote reserviors (from the '98 coffin style to 2002 remotes).

What would be great is to see pictures of these modified bikes, so we could admire the work that has gone into them.

This is a one-of-a-kinda paint modification on the right side of my bike....
This is a cool graphic mod I did to the left side of the bike. The band-aid has been on the fairing for almost three years...

For Performance mod's I have the following on my '02 St:
