'04 st4s/abs manual

hi, thought you'd like to know about the workshop manual I recieved today, a nicely bound pretty good xerox of the factory st4s/abs manual, it doesn't lay flat but has maintenance intervals and procedures, wiring diagrams, and full teardown stuff ( scary ! )...

the electrical section has picture id of all the harnesses and connectors, which is neat ( preventive maintenance of starter/contactor connections makes a lot more sense now ) and there's even a write-up of how to re-program a black key using a red key, kind of nutty...

here's a link - Sell.com Marketplace : DUCATI ST4 ST4S ST 4S ABS SERVICE SHOP REPAIR MANUAL PAPER Part# 91470501E for sale in New York, NY area (247K1L) - the guy also shows '06-07 st3/s/abs and '98-03 st2 manuals available, plus a lot of other duc manuals...

the desmotimes manual is still on my xmas list, but this is pretty good for $30 delivered - I sent a paypal on sunday afternoon and got it today... Donn

I think I've seen this on Ebay for over $100. Would it be applicable to '05??

I just ordered one, seems like a good buy and a nice piece to have around.
Thanks for the heads up on this.

Now that you've had a look at it is it pretty detailed as far as a workshop manual? Does it list part numbers? Step-by-step teardown instructions?

don't think this book would apply to '03 ( different body and lights at least ) or '05 ( wet clutch at least ). Full teardown instructions, though you have to skip around ( remove clutch slave in one section, alternator cover in another ). Doesn't give part numbers but the part number book is online... cheers, Donn
