Question st4s 2004 stator look tool ?

hi
has any removed the stator/rotor on a st4s 2004 will it pull of after the crank shaft nut is removed now this is not the R093 type

Mike, Have you tried looking in the work shop manual to see how to do it?
if you don't have one try looking in the ST2 WSM manual I've uploaded.

Yes it will come off no problem once you have removed the nut but you will need a tool to lock the flywheel, especially if you you want to torque it up when you are refitting it. The nut should be replaced every time.

Oh a note of caution!! When you take the flywheel off be careful of the fine washer on the back of the starter gear! Extra care is to be taken when putting it back on! This is the reason I am splitting my engine AGAIN!!

st4s 2004 lock tool

hi every one
thank you for the post will need to make one not for my st2 but for a st4s 2004 bike as the lad needs to remove the stator /rotor that lock tool that puffin 64 posted looks the job i was thinking of cnc laser cut loke a large c/spanner with the ajustment on the 2no bolts in the photo
