Anyone try these BikeVis Bullets?

I was wondering if anybody has tried these little LED lights on their ST:
BikeVis Store | BikeVis Bullets v2
If so, where did you mount them? How do they look? Their pretty inexpensive...may just have to get a few to try them out.

I've been wanting to try these for a while. It might be a good idea for a group buy.

Either side of the chin intake looks like a great spot. It won't give a lot of triangulation.

Have a good one.

I mounted a pair on the front fender below the reflector and routed the wires under the fender to the holes that the brake lines pass through. I used RTV to glue the wires to the underside of the fender. A week or so after mounting them, one of the lights failed. They promptly sent me a replacement, but I haven't replaced them yet. I mounted a set on my GT at the bottom of the fork tube, on the bottom axle cap using double sticky tape. They've been on for months now, so I guess it worked.

I looked at these too, but fitted HID's and noticed a great difference during the day with the reaction of car drivers. Would there be a case with a good front light for mounting these on the side of the bike?

Johnny,

Yes. Having something like these in a triangle with the headlight helps other vehicles judge your distance and speed. The change in apparent length between the lights as you approach is easier to see with the quick glance you are lucky to get from peeps on cellphones that are eating and painting their toenails. Wait, that's giving "drivers" too much credit to be able to do any three or four things at once.

They would also help as marker lights when the headlight is obscured by something like a vehicle that you are following. Quite often a single m/c headlight will blend into a sea of traffic and appears to be a car. You may not see it much there, but I will bet a lot of folks here have experienced the surprise when they see the lonely amber light on a car that has only one working headlight.

Have a good one.

I didn't think of that location...that looks great! I'm guessing that you did not drill into the fender and the back of the bullet is hanging off a bit for wire clearance.

Looks like I'll have to get a set.

I have to admit...the three headlight configuration that a lot of the Harley riders use is very noticeable. My eye seems to be drawn to those easier than any single headlight bike. Of course, that would look a bit out of place on the ST.
