Reprogrammable chips for ST2

Hi everyone. I was wondering if the fast by ferracci chips were reprogrammable if needed to be when giving the bike a dyno tune? Im still working out which chip and exhaust combo i want on my 2003 ST2. Favouring Sil Moto slip ons, cut lid airbox and the fbf chip. Any help appreciated.

Staintune do chips & slip ons, but exhausts can be fitted without a chip.

See their website

Hope this helps

I have a little experience with the FBF and Ultimap 161 chips for the ST2. Both seem to be good chips. The ultimap does raise the rev limiter to 9,500 and also turns the cooling fan on at 195 F which is pretty cool.

The term EPROM stands for "E"rasable "P"rogrammable "R"ead "O"nly "M"emory.

Simply put you cannot reprogram it on the fly with software. It has to be erased and re-burned into the chip. I am sure it can be done, most shops don't have the means to do it.
