What farkles/upgrades on ST4
OK, what upgrades and farkles do you have on your ST4. I have a 2001 and so far have helix bar raisers, Corbin seat and RAM mount. I'd like to add pipes and maybe a windscreen. So what are your recommendations?

You can go cheap and core your own pipes for next to nothing and for the windscreen try
zero-gravity touring for your ST.

Save your money for belts and tires, maybe some suspension work. Ride this piss out of it and have fun!

I agree on the suspension work. Seems a little stiff so that is definitely on the list.

No problem with the alternator. Paul Geller, aka Mr. Ducati Designs, installed the first DD headlight on his red ST2. The bike with the DD headlight in Paul's current avatar is my old 01-ST4 in the fastest color.
Attached is a photo Paul took of me and our bikes on the Burr Trail Road in the Capitol Reef National Park near Torrey, Utah in June, 2003.

Another recommended farkle. The fuse and wiring of the accessory power oulet of the MY 02 and earlier ST models is only 3 amp. I recommend an upgraded outlet by Powerlets if you plan on using heated riding apparel.
