TPS & Emissions

Does anybody "KNOW" what if any effect the TPS has on the bikes emissions? I have my own thoughts, but would like to KNOW some facts if there are any available.
I believe the OEM setting was 5+ ohm's, but the recommended was less than 5, 4.6 or so. that is what I set mine at during set up a while ago.
Having trouble with CO's, at the moment.

I don't know of any ohms settings, LT talks about setting the TPS at certain mvlts.

Yes, maybe it was milivolts rather than ohm's it has been awhile, have to dig out my paperwork.
I am also thinking the trim pot could be ineffective for one reason or another. It doesn't seem to make any difference in the running that is fantastically noticable.
