Silly tech question

Forgive me because I cut my teeth in working on old air cooled Porsches. It would stand to reason that any set of slip ons would would work so long as there are no leaks and so long as they the exhaust was fabbed up to fit?
If I acquired a shorty set really designed as a plug and play for a different Duc, so long as the set up is fabbed correctly I should be able to dial in the ECU.

I am a shade tree mechanic used to working on old air cooled 911’s where you can fab up any exhaust set up you like and make it work.

Should be no problem, if it does not have a chip for aftermarket exhaust that would help.

Bone stock mechanically right now. Just looks like the exhaust options are fairly limited and it may be cheaper and open up a lot more choices to run some slip ons with fabbed up pipes.

Staintune Exhausts

I have never heard anyone say they don't like them, they can be installed with or without a new chip.
They come round or oval in shape. Scroll through each ST model to see the differences.

I love mine & run them open with no db killers in place.

They are also really easy to keep clean & shiny, I think I have polished them once in 3 years, 30,000 kms.
