The DD headlight will work with the comfort fairing. The first person to ever purchase a DD headight had it installed with a comfort fairing on his ST2.

Thanks for the correction, Gregg, I mistook his bike as a 3-valver. I use LT's 4v manual all the time.

I'll get the manual on order and do some reading before I tear into her. The truck is not mine its my neighbor's but yes I am mechanical minded. I've been know to fix a few things. Airplanes, cars & motobikes but I have just never worked on a Duc before. The worse that can happen is I have to rebuild the engine. I'll look into getting the other items for her as time permits.

I do have one question is the ignition key suposed to be hard to insert into the slot? Mine does not like to go down all the way.

........I tweaked one of my keys forcing it to turn the seat lock. You can barely tell there is anything wrong with it but it sure is a PITA to use.
