Rode into work today
25 mile commute from the country to small city. 60's today, snow still on the ground but melting. Roads were slick and I had to watch the throttle but wow it was sure great to break her out of the garage!!!!!!! Can't wait for spring

If they sand the roads in your area after a snow storm, watch out for the loose sand as well.

Here in Illinois they just dump tons of deicing crap everywhere. Mine's staying in until we get a good rain to wash the stuff off the roads.

I went out riding Tuesday & yesterday ... slowly and very carefully! The worst thing 'round here is the potholes!
Corner with care, lads.

Nice ride today for the first time since Jan 1. It was mid-50s and sunny - quite a change from the cryogenic weather we've been having. Took a pic of the ST by a frozen lake. The roads were awash in melting snow, and I'll have to scrub the underside of the bike well this weekend to get off the crud, but it was great to be out!

we've so many pot holes after this winter it's going to be really interesting
riding this spring. Heck, they probably won't get them fixed till fall.

Had to attend some professional development about 50 miles from home (I live in Lago Vista and the training was in Oak Hill), so I took the most direct route there in the morning (which included the dreaded Mopac...) but decided to take the scenic route back home:
47 Miles there (eastern route)
94 Miles back
Was a mix of rain and drizzle on the way in (at approx 60 degrees), but on the way home there was just a little dampness remaining on the roads and the weather was low 70's with scattered clouds.
Both legs took about the same time, can't complain too much!

Noomen, what program you use to mark your route like that? Ive been looking for a app for my phone or program to be able to mark a set route.
Thanks

Great riding weather all over the southeast, today. Of course, I get picked to play dodge the truck with the 17 yr old girl texting on her phone in an F-in ford explorer...... Yep its springtime again.

That was just mapquest, it actually wasn't the exact route I took, but close enough to give you guys an idea. Y9u can actually get an exact track by dropping pins along the route.
I plan on getting a Spot shortly, and I think you can do an exact track with time checks too with their website...
