Since I started this whole meetup idea, and I'm setting up the EC meet and would love to fly over for the WC meet, I voted for the second date as the first one (15-16th) is on same date as EC. Selfish maybe, but I really would like to attend both and maybe bring a signed poster or something to provide continuity.

it's all good... there are 50 people or so attending... whatever works for the majority will prevail. I still need to find a bike to ride out there actually.

I looked for the option to edit, but found no way to do it. I think that's probably best though, in terms of making a firm decision and not leaving it 'open' so to speak. I'm holding off my vote, as I don't have a preference for either date, ehh -I'm easy  . It would be cool to have Alexio bring a truckload of drinks and free gifts like he promised in his post here, so I'm just going to vote with the majority before Wednesday.
I made a list of people to attempt a mass PM to everyone in the original thread, hoping to get the voting thing going, but I'm buried in work right now and have only been jumping on here to keep track. Hopefully tonight I will find time to do it.
