Yep, me too. In the Seventies when I started street riding, I was an out of control wild man. We used to get drunk and go ride the back roads at night as fast as we could. I cannot believe I survived my youth.

Made me a good rider though!

Never ever not once on the motorcycle. On that note of innocence and integrity....

During my 7 years living in a recent expatriate assignment in a foreign country, I must've driven my car(s) a good 100k without even remembering it. This was rampant amongst many in the place in question.

Those who cannot acknowledge their shame are doomed to repeat it.

Never once in my 38+ years of riding motorcycles have I riden after drinking anything alcholic within four or five hours. Driving a car intoxicated? In my wild youth I sure did. That and pot. I no longer ride, drive or operate on water after having anything that might impair my judgement. For some reason I always get picked to be the designated driver.

Yup, guilty. High sided my R1 on the street from a few cans of the courage. (BTW it was a contributing factor, I'm simply 'ham fisted', I've got 7 highsides under my belt, sadly only 2 were on the track) I've been riding for 16 years, I figure I'm on 13 of my 9 lives, well past due. The last get off did some muscle damage to my right arm and thus pooched my race season. I'm done with it. I'm a slow learner and there have been a couple stories but I can tell you now there won't be anymore. I'm 32 with 1 and 3 year old girls at home, can't afford the what if's anymore.

Only water for me when riding. I throw in the odd espresso here an there but it just makes me piss out all the water I just drank

Honestly though I did some buzzed motarding with some cousins once on a backroad dirt/pavement stretch and while I felt perfectly in control of the bike my sense of danger was significantly reduced and in retrospect I found myself taking some pretty f-ing stupid chances.

Been there, done that. Now it's my kids who smoke the pot, though never when riding (so she says).

That reminds me, I 've got to make an appointment with my hairdresser, it's shoulder length again (at least on the sides and in back).
