Poll: Why Did You Buy A Ducati?
I was drawn in by the looks then the ride nailed me.

The bike I have was originally bought new by my oldest brother. Always one to share, he let me ride it within a few days of his buying it. I was sold on the look and feel right away. A few years into it my brother grew tired of the ride, gave it to his son and eventually wound up riding Harleys. My nephew rode the bike for a few years and when priorities changed, put it away in the garage. In 2005 I was in search of a bike I could use to commute the 65 miles I drive to work. I asked my nephew if he was interested in parting with the Duc since it hadn't been ridden in a few years. A deal was struck and soon it was mine. I don't see ever parting with this bike. My brother has made it known he likes that it's still in the family.

I fell in love with the looks & then the ride. I love the looks of the MV F4, but when I test rode one, the ride was nothing special, it was just a very pretty GSXR/CBR. Thats why I own a Duc and not an MV!

None of the above.
I bought mine because Guzzi didn't make a street version of the MGS/01 (or any other new models that I like), and Ducati was the closest thing to a Guzzi I could find.

I was standing on the front porch of the dealership waiting for my new Norton 850 Commando to get through make ready when the shop owner rolled out a 750 GT to prep it for delivery to it's new owner. When I heard and felt that thing fire up I knew instantly that some day I would own a Ducati. It took way too long!

It may be dirty, but it's hard to wash while riding!
