Belt Tension Poll
How do you set the tension on your two valver? Doing a search on the subject, you could spend an entire day going thru all the threads and different methods.I use allen keys to set them, and have not had a problem.

On my `93 SS I used the allen wrench method. Folks say that will not work with the newer, dual-spark, motor. Anyone have an authoritative answer to this?

Allen key for me. I'm not convinced that it's that critical. It could be I might be down a horsepower but doing it simply and at home is worth it and the bike is fast enough with great miles per.

When I replaced my belts recently I used the allen wrench method. I also checked it with a small fish scale as the manual says 10 pound pull. The scale was not calibrated by any means and it was off by one pound, it pulled at 11.
