How old were you when.....
..you purchased your first ducati?
I was 21.
I remember how unworthy i felt as i handed the cash over to the old bloke for the F1, i had an RD Yammy at the time.
I hit a power pole one month later and snapped it in half and have been riding them ever since.

I was an 18-yr old squid when I got my first sportbike. Man, I abused that poor thing with my enthusiasm and lack of mechanical and general motorcycle knowledge. 15 years and 4 bikes later, I finally got a Ducati. I'm wiser and more mature now, and the Duc benefits from it. Now I can truly appreciated the nuances that make Ducati so special.

My first Ducati was a brand new '99 SS750 with full-fairing in yellow.....three months and 3000 miles later, I totaled it......a couple months later, while still walking with a cane, I bought my '98 ST2 on a fluke.........Since then, I've picked up the 748, a Paso 750 project that is almost complete, and another potential Paso project...........I think the next one I get will be an 851/888.

I was 19 back in 1970, when I bought my first Ducati, a new 350 Mark 3 Desmo, Ducati's first desmo-equipped road bike.

Bought my first Ducati in high school, paid for by working it off at the local Ducati distributorship. What a deal for both of us !
Now, 28 Ducs later, I am still infected with this disease that neither the CDC nor my bankers understand. go figure

I bought my first and only Duc two years ago at age 50. I have been riding street bikes since I was 15. Here in Cali you can be licensed at 15 1/2, which I was. Over the many years I have owned several different brands and styles of bikes. No matter what other brands I may have I will always have a Duc, I am hooked. This bike was bought brand new by my oldest brother and I got to ride it right after he brought it home.

Bought my first bike (2006 Multistrada 620) at age 36. I now have an ST4s and a Monster 620. I tried other bikes, and hardly even knew what a Ducati was before I started riding, but I was hooked after the first ride.

16 years old, (1979) although I didn't 'officially' ride it until I was 17.
It was my first (proper) bike.

Bought my first Harley when I was 24, first Ducati at age 32.
In the immortal words of Dylan, "I was so much older then, I'm younger than that now".
