Ive been married for 18 years, and if that ends, I will NEVER, EVER do it again.

I will also acknowledge that 90% of the reasons for my unhappiness stem from personality. It is what it is.

Marriage is an institution and I don't feel like being institutionalized ever again.

aussies live in the 'lucky cuntry'

lucky not to be eaten by a croc
lucky not to get bit by a spider
lucky not to be eaten by sharks
lucky not to not to die in the desert
lucky to avoid a box jellyfish
lucky to lick a cane toad
lucky not to be eaten by a dingo
lucky not to be shot by the coppers

just celebrated 15 years. First marraige for both. We're both in it "for better or worse" and we can take it. We both know tolorance is part of the equation. I know I would consider (and I sincerely believe she does as well) divorce a failure on either of our parts. It drives me to remain tolerant. It helps to know that I am not perfect either. Sounds like our lives suck, but we're actually pretty happy!

TMI, I know...

Dumb, dumb question.

I'd just kill myself and avoid all the pain.

Marriage is a piece of paper where the Government recognizes your union with your loved one. No thanks... I'll be with the same girl for 40 years and still wouldn't feel the need.
