A Ducati Dictionary?
Hey,
I would love to see each bike ducati ever made, on the site. A 250 Scrambler, a 1973 750ss, which I think just went for $75,150.00 on ebay; a 750 F1, an supersport, 748, 916, a 998....999....and so on. It would be nice to take a moment from the madness to look at what we don't have or want, or glad we avoided.
Not a mod-shot hey look at me mom place......just a classy bike shot of the real deal as it came from the factor, section.
That's probably too many gig's though.

I love the idea, but...
Not just Ducatis.
How about a detailed place like Wikipedia, but with details for every motorcycle?
One for cars would be cool too, as I can't tell you how many times I've wanted to find specifics about what models came with what parts, or when specific model changes were made. Bikez.com has a pretty good listings, but I think the navigation needs work.

Theres a guy who has an IMMENSE collection of singles on the internet with nice hi-res pics of each one, its famous, and well known thru the Duck community, the name escapes me, but he is maybe from Europe, and it's called the "so-in-so collection" its the dudes last name.
Do a google search for "Ducati collection" and look at images.....
The guy I am thinking of -all the pics have a crazy tie-die looking sheet behind most of the shots of his bikes, and most are un-restorred and old, yet have brand-new chome headers and tail pipes....
Anybody know who I am talking about?

This being a Ducati site, I thought it would be easy to assemble the Collection of originals. If some wants a mod section ok, but plain and simple like out of the box.........

Almost no-one on here 'sides me has or talks about bikes pre-1990.
There was 50-some years Ducati before 1990, yet this site is late-model focused only. You dont see much Vintage or classic Duck traffic round these parts bro.

pffft.. You've been here about 15 minutes and have spent more time bumping your own thread and blowing your own trumpet..
Spend a little while here before you start bagging the place...
There are a few older and vintage bike people.. pre 90's.. maybe not as many or as 'prominant' as you'd like.. but they are here..
Enjoy your models and bikes..
In accordance with the prophecy...
