Why is the site so slow?

Why is Ducati.ms so slow to load pages? I am on a 12 meg connection and every time I click a page or forum it takes 7-8 seconds to load each page. I noticed it does this from work, home and phone. Am I missing a setting or something?

It could be your antivirus software. I had CA and got rid of it and downloaded MSFT Essentials and it is super fast once again.

Downloading of all the advertising surely doesn't help.

The good news is the advertising can be shut off in the control panel for premium members.

I know...I'm contemplating it Just giving reasons to the OP's dilemma.

If it's just this site for him then it must be corrupt cookies or slow anitviurs software checking out all the ads. OP you have done all the routine stuff like deleting cookies, temp internet files, as well as a good cleanup like with C Cleaner?
