Why can I only post in some areas

I was going to ask a guy selling a pair of riding pants, what sort of size waist and leg length they fit, and it says i cannot post there.

Is there a secret handshake needed or what ?

they usually require i think 30 legit posts (not post whoring just to be able to sell)

and membership for at least a month.

I ran into the same issue when I wanted to post a WTB ad and I met those requirements

I just saw a good looking pair of pants for sale, but as I need a 33 waist, and 36 leg, I was curious what size they fit, as it just says Large, but that can really vary brand to brand.

At the top there is a sticky that says "READ THIS BEFORE POSTING or something like that. You should probably look there.
