song upload help
I've got this song on my computer that I want to share. When I tried to attach it to a thread, it said it couldn't take it. Then I moved it to a zip file but then it said it wouldn't take it cause it exceeded the size limit. It said it was 4+ MB. I don't know crap about computers, so if you're gonna try and help my sorry ass, then please speak in laymans terms. Thanks

unless you have your own server or a friend willing to host the file your best bet is to probably use one of the numerous free file hosting sites. some are no doubt better than others but my experience with them is pretty limited so i can't really recommend any one in particular. you'll probably have to just experiment with a few to find one that you're comfortable with. after uploading the file(s) the service should provide you with a link so that others can download the file directly from their service.
here is a list of some of them. since their revenue is mostly ad-based you'll probably have to tolerate some ads/popups. as i mentioned earlier, test a few to see which ones best fit your needs and ad-tolerance levels.
good luck!

From the allowed extensions list it looks like you could upload it to the "movies" section of the gallery. I'm assuming it is a MP3 file.

It may be dirty, but it's hard to wash while riding!

Well, I got it to upload in the movie section of the gallery. Now how the hell do I start a thread in 'chit-chat' and attach it to it?

You should be able to post it with a link like this:

To get that link above I right clicked on the icon for that file you posted and copied the URL from the properties.
