I Paid $40 to Somebody

On Saturday Jan 19 I signed up for the "Lifetime Membership" and also sent $40 via PayPal to somebody named VerticalScope.

I have no access to any of the premium membership perks. This site has not even acknowledged that I paid.

I've sent two emails to the "contact us" link on this site. I've sent one to the verticalscope folks. No reply from anybody.

Help? Do I need to activate something?

You shouldn't need to and you should hear back from someone
I will contact you via PM and see if we can get this resolved.

Hey!!! I am now a Lifetime Member. Thank you Mr. Scott.

However, it says that my "Lifetime" subscription expires on Jan 25, 2037. Do you know something I don't know?

Thanks Again.

Well I will be 100 and I will still be trying to figure why I signed up for lifetime since I can't figure how to turn off the adds ?? I thought that was an option for lifetime subscribers...Of course it could only have been wishful thinking ,.,Any suggestions Scott??

You can disable the left side bar in their UserCP-->edit profile-->scroll to the bottom and check disable left side bar. Also you will find a spot to disable intellitext in your UserCP. Let me know how it works.

Ahh much better! thanks you good sir . My inability to function around computers rears it's head often, . I normally try to keep it in check but I am only an old guy struggling in hte shadows..
I DO appreciate the feature and look forward to attempting to wander around the site without causing too much consternation ..

If you send a PM to "admin" and let him know that you paid for a membership but your status has not changed he will check it and get you properly set up.
