Picure resizes

OK< i have this weird thing that happens. I load up a thread with pictures in it, and the forum seems to resize them for me automatically. I verified that I have that setting turned off in internet explorer. Is it a forum setting I have control over?

What happens is ai Load a thread with pictures, they are full size and look good. then just before the page finishes loading, they pictures drop in size and become jaggy. this is in internet explorer 7. It also happens in firefox.

vBulletin software does resize them so I always recommend that you size your pictures around 640x480 before posting them here to keep them sharp.

Or, you could just post the link to the pic, instead of the pic itself. Then, with one click, people can view the pic in a new window, full size. When you want to post fairly large images, that's probably the best way to do it...

Well i was more asking about viewing the inline photos. I don't have need to post pics myself as of yet. But when i do I will keep your size rcommendations or posting reccomendations in mind.

So the vbulletin resize is unstoppable?

Yes, it is not something we set.
