LED turn signal problem on 996

Hey, I am new to the Ducati world and am loving it so far. I ahve just installed LED turn signals on my 2000 996 and am having a problem getting them to work right. I have installed a Kuryakyn load equalizer on the rear signal leads and now all the signals flash when I activate the switch either direction. The tech support at the company said it had something to do with the indicator light on the dash. I was hoping you guys would know of a fix that I could still use the dash indicator. Thank you for your time
Mike
