Just a Typical Ride
Seriously. Just a typical ride. A destination, what one experiences getting there.
Had some recording time left on the MiniDV tape. Parked the cam on the Duc yesterday and picked a destination. Six minute vid includes...
The driveway
The county road
The highway
The construction zone
The small town
The pass
The curves
The near miss
The destination
etc.
Not that all rides include the preceding. Didn't rain. And many of my rides recently have actively experienced this .
Audio accompaniment this time is a focus on the Bologna Music. If you have a quality sound system connected to the PC. Crank the volume a bit. Especially enjoy if a subwoofer present. A quiet musical score also in the background.

Great vid as always. I hope you will grace us with a few more before the riding season draws to a close. Paul Geller and I can really identify with your driveway.

Well, after the grumbling at the mud, rocks, dust, ruts, etc, every time going and coming, wouldn't have it any other way. At least the skills are challenged continuosly when off road eh?

Yes, that Duck came right towards me during the lake recording so thought it fit. And later, when I snapped the image of the bike the same duck crossed the road, halting traffic, checked out a puddle of water in front of me, then returned back to the lake, halting traffic again!

Yes, you caught that! Pause the recording there and play/pause, play/pause, and this was a close call. It could have been the clip I was at coming up the hill and curve, but had that rider not been looking and continued a slow crossing of my lane to the scenic pullout there... serious defensive move.

Loved it Steve .... and I'm amazed by the low revs you run the bike on ...
BTW is the tarmac that bad everywhere, a lot of frost damage it appears?
Keep'm coming (the movies that is)
