The Unfinished Ride - Ducati.ms

I finally got to finish the ride I started one year ago tomorrow (5/17). It was on that day that I crashed on Cecilville-Callahan Road during our group's Spring Break Ride to Weaverville, CA.

Today four of us from that Spring Break trip plus two others rode up to Sumas for brunch. Sumas is on the Canadian border and the return ride took us within a stone's throw of Canada. I ended up riding 260 miles, not bad for my first road trip in a year. I'll see how sore I am tomorrow.

We have a new tradition of stopping for photos at the end of all dead end roads. Today's dead end road was Mosquito Lake Road, which is closed at Milepost 8.7 for repairs to the bridge over the Middle Fork of the Noosack River.

We are scheduled to head over to Idaho on Friday for Spring Break 2010. The weather forecast does not look promising, so we will wait and see what happens.

Hey Bill, good to see you getting some miles under you again. hope to meet up out on the road one of these days. JB
