Wallowa Madness

I got back today from the Yahoo ST owners group's annual get together. It was held this year at Wallowa Lake outside of Joseph, Oregon. Joseph is located in the NE corner of Oregon. To the east across Hell's Canyon is Idaho and to the north across the Grande Ronde River is Washington. The riding was hot, but the temps were hotter, which kept me out of Hell's Canyon. I did get in rides to Imnaha, Oregon; Lewiston, Idaho (to show my old high school to my son); and Hell's Cnyon Overlook off Forest Road 39. I have attached a few photos to give you a taste of the area.

I went camping out there once when I was living in Walla Walla. Really beautiful area!

Beautiful photos. One day, I hope to be able to ride longer distances on my ST2. Though I've ridden 50,000 miles on Harleys, I can't ride more than 50 right now on my ST2 without getting numb hands and aching arms. (I'm installing 3/4 inch Dr. Desmo risers this week.)

The more you ride, the more your muscles will adjust. My throttle hand will sometimes get numb if I am gripping the throttle improperly, such as a "death grip".
