Skaggs Springs

Just in case you didn't catch my post in the NorCal section about our ride Sunday I thought I would give a recap here and post a link to the video of our day.

We had an amazing day! Quan decided to join at the last minute. Route ended up with us going north on 128 then hitting Skaggs Springs to Stewart Point. South on Hwy 1 for a tasty lunch in Jenner at The Rivers End. Enjoyed the sunshine on the back deck for a while after lunch then continued south on Hwy 1 to Marshall. The owner of The Rivers End said we should check out a place Pat Kuleto just finished remodeling ($10 million on the remodel) after being closed for many years called Nick's Cove so we stopped there and enjoyed the deck on the bay for about an hour. Sadly it was time to head home but we found two roads for a new route back that were stunning and we are looking forward to trying that them again.
Highlights:
Average temps along the coast were 65-78 degrees.
Temps on the way home were 72-82 degrees.
Scenery that looked like Ireland in some areas.
We never saw any LEOs the entire day.
Total miles for us were 340. I think Quan had 375 or so.

Dang wish I knew you were heading out this way.... I live just a few miles south of the exit for Skaggs.

Glad you had a good ride
