Lunch at Long Beach

That is Long Beach, Washington. As a warm up to next week's Ice Cycle Run, six of us rode to Long Beach for lunch. Temps ranged from the mid 30's to mid 50's. The worst part was riding through the patchy morning fog. Damp cold is far more uncomfortable than dry cold.

It was a 400+ mile ride for most of us due to the return ride up Hood Canal. Attached are some photos. The yellow Multi belongs to Fred, the red 04-ST4s is mine. The bike lineup photo was taken at a road which allows vehicle access to the beach. For some strange reason, people like driving their cars on the sand.

We were the smallest birds in that flock. I cannot consider Randy's ST1300 a sport tourer. I call it "tourer lite" compared to the Jim's Goldwing and Larry's Beemer K1200LT. The third small bike, David's Honda 919, is not in the photo.
