Kitsap Penninsula ride

To complete the turn signal deal, Fazer and I met halfway at Belfair on Saturday so he could treat me to lunch in exchange for the turn signals.
Looking for tail lights for 2002 ST4s

Belfair is in the SE corner of the Kitsap Penninsula, which sits between Puget Sound and Hood Canal. Considering its close proximity to the Seattle area, it is fairly remote and the roads are relatively empty.

It turned out that Fazer does most of his riding south and east out of Olympia and had never ridden the Kitsap Penninsula, so I gave him a brief tour. With his red 02-ST4s equipped with Ducati Designs headlights, it was like having Mark Turbo on my tail.

It was a relatively short ride for me (100+ miles total), but the two ferry rides and the roads along the water were an interesting contrast to my ride in the mountains the prior week.

Photo #1: Restaurant parking lot.
Photo #2: Dewatto on the shore of the Hood Canal. Olympic Mountains in the background.

Photo #4: Me at Dewatto
Photo #5: Fazer farther north up the penninsula at Seabeck. You can see why he wants OEM turn signals back on the bike. Those aftermarket ones next to the license plate are nearly hidden by the side bags.

I envy you...best we have here are some curvy roads through the forest that the critters like to jump across. Beautiful pics, Bill.

We have critters here that will jump in front of us on curvy roads, but ours are not carnivorous like yours are.

Yeah, but neither do the critters in Florida weigh in at 1,500 lbs.

It was good to meet you and introduce you to some new roads. I want to return to the area as I still want to explore the dead end roads to Holly and Tahuya.
