It's 27 Degrees F and I Don't Care...

...there's sand and salt and ice on the roads, it's cold as hell...and I don't care: I'm riding, Dammit!

Well, about 20 miles is all I could stand, but it sure beats staring at the bike, wishing.

Stopping into my Parents place just to make sure they know I'm nuts:

Hi Dad (had to do a drive-by):

This bike is the coolest thing I have ever thrown a leg over! There are some clean roads and I got to have a little fun - the top triple clamp has a habit of approaching your face very quickly in the first three gears! It handles like a dream...it feels just like a really big dirt bike (maybe cause that's essentially what it is?). It steers very light and as a whole feels very confidence inspiring. I can't wait to put some miles on this thing!

Oh...the suspension is amazing! I hit some bumps in a road I ride a lot, and on the 749, these bumps were brutal. I saw them but didn't feel them on the Katoom. I'm in love...

Wish you were here, Bill!!

Now that we have a shot of you on your new bike, I'll photo shop you into some of my ride reports if it will make you feel warmer. :>)
