Ride report 6000 miles/12 days

Not a Duc, but you'll like the trip report format.

Welcome to Ducati.MS. Great set of photos. I have ridden many of those same roads in Idaho, Montana, and Utah, but I don't have your discipline to stop and take photos.

Many of us have ridden the Torrey area, site of the Ducati ST owners rally in 2003 and 2007. Utah Hwy. 12 and the Burr Trial Road are scenic wonders.

It is too bad you had to slab it up I-5 from Sacramento, but there is always next year. I have wanted to ride up to Edmonton and would enjoy seeing photos of the area.

PCH bound this year...

Actually, I am heading though California this June, and will go from Olympic park to San Luis Opispo, and then over to Sequioa N.P. and Monument.

I am on the fence with turning east at that point to Utah 12, and the west side of Colorado, Beartooth etc. and then home, OR turn north and see more Cali canyons, and lava, and Crater Lake, Mt St. Helens that way. Mileage isn't so much and issue, as they are close to the same (I have 11.5 days tops).

With the heavy snow accumulation we are having this winter in the PNW, check your route a week of so before departure to see if all the roads are open. The Forest Service roads in Oregon and Washington which are the most fun to ride are not plowed and many do not open until June. I thought I had read somewhere that Beartooth Pass in Montana does not open until June as well.
