Hi Bill,
Got back last night after 300 mile round trip, (which on windy roads is about my limit these days, Only been back in the saddle for a few months after 17yr lay off!)
Lots of nice machinery, some of which were new to me, inc a weird looking BMW and a Benelli that looked good and sounded lame (Triple cylinder dynamo sound)
Even though my bike is 7 yrs old I can't get over just how good it feels, and what is it about that L twin beat?, seach me but its music for the soul.
I met a group of spaniards who became instant friends and guided me to the Recinto Ferial (Fare ground) at Rota.
I didn't get chance to take photos of the USAF base but probs best not to in these days of DEFCON ?.
Took snaps of the point where Europe almost meets Africa, The Straits of Gibraltar, its a great road winding along the coast thru the Windsurfing spot called Tarifa.
The Bull is an old advert for one of the big sherry compenies called Osbourne, they are always set near a road so they can be seen in silhoette and are a protected landmark thruoghout spain. And you thought your steers were big in Texas

I think you'll be amazed how close it appears (about 20KMS)
I'll send more later,
Cheers,

Brad
