Epic Adventure - Bill Anderson you should read

Okay I have read some of these and am impressed with the fun and skill levels. Here's a ride a couple of buddies on mine and I did at the end of August 2007. The first link is to the story as it is told and the 2nd link is to some pictures.

I hope you enjoy the read and pictures.

Thanks for the report and photos. Averaging over 500 miles a day for five days through that country is truly epic. What was the sign that one of you kept holding up in the photos?

You mentioned stopping at Lower Baker Dam at Concrete. Did you stop at Diablo Dam too?

Diablo and that sign we were holding....

Yep we stopped at Diablo Dam too. The sign the two other riders were holding are their official Dam Tour rider numbers. To get credit having visited a dam you need to hold your number standing next to your scoot in front of the dam. The guys putting on the 2008 Dam Tour are the same as the ones doing Hells Canyon Motorcycle Rally.

One dam I didn't go to and was glad I said "No no no" was a 40 mile one way trip on gravel and back out. It was up in Montana just south of the Canadian border.

My son is 24 and may inherit my ride for his. His is a white 93' 750 VFR.

THanks for the feedback on the handle bars.

Talking

Your son is a bit young to truly appreciate the refinement of the ST4s, but he has had a proper upbringing if he is currently riding a VFR. I sent you a PM.
